About Us
ProPerform Sport Mentoring is a career development programme for people who wish to work in sport. We provide our clients with an aspirational approach so that they can motivate themselves to develop their brand and establish a reputation as a successful sporting professional. Our programme was founded in 2008 by Robert Kielty who has been mentoring and consulting in professional and elite sport for over 25 years.
Career opportunities in sport are hugely competitive and are often dependant on the support structures that individuals have access to. Our programme therefore provides experienced Mentors who help clients construct a unique career plan. We have a live schedule of workshops from esteemed Sporting professionals, an online community of practice network connecting clients to industry as well as an exclusive industry placement when they are required to provide that much sought after experience. Applicants have the flexibility to join via an online programme as well as attend our live face to face schedule.
Our mentees come from different populations. Very often they are graduating students from school, college or university who recognise the need for an individual career plan or a network in which to promote their attributes. We also attract existing sporting professionals who may have reached a career ceiling or wish to diversify into other sports employment.
